Homemade, fresh to order, they will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days or are freezable – perfect to take on Staycation or save for another day!

PLEASE NOTE:  Foodie Dishes are available sporadically at the moment.  I base the menu on the events that we have booked in.  

However, if you have an event that you would like Foodie Dishes for, whereby you are catering for 10 people or more, then please do get in touch.

 CQ Sausage & Mash Pie

Cumberland Sausage, Creamy Leeks, and Baked Apple in a Creamy Mustard Infused Sauce, encased in Mash potato.  A modern twist on a classic dish with maximum yum factor! 

CQ Steak & ale Pie

 Tender pieces of best British beef slow roasted in real ale with caramelised onion, carrot, and portobello mushrooms, all topped with a buttery, flakey pastry lid. Served with a side of creamy cheddar mash.

Peanut Curry

Chicken, Spinach, Peppers, Onions & Mushrooms in a Mild Coconut Curry Sauce infused with Peanut, and served with Basmati Rice.  An Indian curry that’s mild on spice but rich on flavour!

CQ Stroganoff

Chicken, Chestnut Mushrooms, Caramelised Onions and Roasted Red Peppers in a Creamy Stroganoff sauce. Served with Long Grain Rice.

CQ Beef & Guinness Stew with Bacon Dumplings

Prime British Beef in a Rich Guinness laced Gravy with Caramelised Onions, Caramelised Carrots & Swede, topped with Smokey Bacon Dumplings and served with Maris Piper and Sweet Potato Mash.

CQ Mousakka

Honeywell’s @ Bent’s Best British Lamb Mince with layers of sliced potato and aubergine, topped with béchamel sauce. A British twist on a classic Greek dish.

 CQ Thai Red Curry 

Packed full of fragrant flavour, this creamy coconut curry is mild on spice and packed with veggies: Sweet Potato, Broccoli, Red Cabbage & Peppers.  Available as a Veggie curry or with Chicken, and served with Jasmine Rice.

CQ Chicken, Stuffing & Cranberry Pie

Chunky Home Roasted Chicken, Homemade Cranberry & Sage Stuffing Balls, Caramelised Onion & Carrots, Honey Roasted Parsnips and Mini Maris Piper Roasties in a Rich Chicken Gravy.  Topped with our fabulous homemade butter pastry lid!

CQ Cheese & Onion Pie

Lancashire & Cheddar Cheese, Caramelised Red Onion, Spring Onion, Mini Maris Piper & Sweet Potato Roasties, Fresh Chives, a hint of wholegrain and a yummy homemade pastry lid!  Perfect served with a Beetroot and Edamame Salad.

 CQ Chicken Rogan Josh

Chunks of chicken marinated in rogan josh spices and then cooked slowly in a tomato and yogurt based sauce with onions, peppers, cauliflower and chick peas.  This dish is more of a medium spice (not one for the little people!).  Served with fragrant rice.

CQ Christmas Pie

Roast Turkey, Pigs in Blankets, Homemade Stuffing Balls, Cranberries, Apricots and Chestnuts, and Mini Roasties smothered in gravy and… all crammed into a pie!!

Lemon Chicken Piccata

Chicken with a Crisp Garlic & Grana Pandana Crust in a Rich Creamy, Lemony, Herby Sauce. Served over pasta with Garlic Mushrooms, Caramelised Onions and Courgette.

CQ Beef and Sausage Stew

Slow Roasted Best British Beef and Cumberland Sausages in a Rich Beef Gravy with Onion, Carrots and swede topped with our trademark mash:  Maris Piper & Sweet Potatoes infused with Mature Cheddar Cheese.  Great comfort food!! 

CQ Butter Chicken

Aromatic golden chicken pieces marinated overnight in mildly spiced yogurt to maximise the rich and creamy flavour of this classic Indian dish.   All vegged up with cauliflower, peppers, onions, spinach and green beans, and served with garlic rice.  Yum!!

CQ Massaman CurrY

A hybrid Thai and Indian curry that is rich on flavour but mild on spice. In usual CQ style, it’s all vegged up and is made with chicken, coconut milk, sweet potatoes and cashew nuts, and served with Jasmine Rice.

CQ Corned Beef Hash Pie

Corned Beef, Maris Piper Potatoes, Roasted Swede, Caramelised Carrots & Onions, Lashings of a Rich Garlic Infused Gravy, Fresh Parsley and topped with a Homemade Puff Pastry Lid.  Good, Hearty, Homemade Food!!

CQ Paprika Chicken Bake

Home Roasted Paprika Chicken, Roasted Peppers, Garlic Portobello Mushrooms, Caramelised Carrots, Fresh Parsley and Fusilli Pasta all in a Creamy Mustard Sauce topped with Shredded Mozzarella.

CQ Pork, cider & Sage hotpot

British Pork Slow Roasted in Cider and Sage with Leeks, Caramelised Carrots & Green Beans, topped with dauphinoise Maris Piper & Sweet Potato.

Foodie Curries start from £10.00 per head, chicken and pork dishes also from £10.00 per head, the beef dishes start from £12.00 per head.

With food prices on the rise (again!) the dish prices will be published when the menu is set. 

Order Cut Off:  8pm on the Wednesday prior. Minimum 48 hours notice required for bookings please!  More notice required for party bookings please xx

 🚗 Local deliveries to Croft, Winwick, Cinnamon Brow, Culcheth and Glazebury late morning, time slots are allocated. Or, contactless collections from CQ HQ on Lady Lane, Croft.
